In practice

What this looks like on your asset

Electrical systems underpin every other discipline on a plant, which is why design rigour is not optional. Systems are engineered against the description of operations, installed to that design, and verified by test before anyone relies on them.

Support spans the full lifecycle: distribution design and load assessment, LV and MV switchgear, protection coordination and relay testing, earthing and lightning protection, and cable testing and fault location.

Preventive programmes — including thermographic survey — catch the loose termination and the overloaded circuit while they are still a maintenance item rather than an outage.

Scope of work

  • Power distribution design and load assessment
  • LV and MV switchgear installation and support
  • Protection coordination, settings and relay testing
  • Earthing, bonding and lightning protection
  • Cable testing, termination and fault location
  • Preventive electrical maintenance and thermography
